About me

I'm Jorge, a web developer from Costa Rica. I've been building websites for about 10 years, mostly in WordPress, but my interest in technology goes way beyond that.

What's always pulled me in is understanding how things work, not just building something that looks good, but figuring out what's happening under the surface. I've always enjoyed that mix of logic and creativity that comes with working on the web.

Over time, I've developed a strong curiosity for experimenting with new tools and ideas in tech. That includes AI, which I use quite a bit in my workflow, not as a replacement for thinking, but as a way to explore, prototype, and move ideas forward faster. I like seeing how far tools can be pushed and how they can change the way we build things.

Outside of work, I'm usually drawn to anything that feels the complete opposite of sitting in front of a screen. I like traveling, getting to know new places, and spending time in nature whenever I can. Those moments help me reset and get out of the constant mental loop of work and screens.

I think that balance matters. The time away from technology often ends up improving the way I think when I come back to it.

At the end of the day, I'm just someone who's curious about how things are built, whether it's software, systems, or ideas, and who enjoys the process of figuring things out.
